Safely transport passengers in accordance with federal and state laws as well as local policies and procedures for school transportation.  Drivers are expected to maintain the equipment assigned to them, communicate with parents and other appropriate personnel about student conduct, discuss equipment and route safety issues with the supervisor, and control the operation of the bus in such a way that ensures the safety of passengers, other motorists, and pedestrians.
